This was the year I started off from Astbury, drifted down to the Alrewas Boat & Folk Festival where I did a bit of playing and compering, and then wandered slowly back up the Shroppie and across to the Bridgewater, calling in at Sale folk club before suffering a bust starter motor and then (with the help of the much appreciated RCR), descending gracefully to the River Weaver for a week or so before rising once more to the T&M and going home.
Doesn’t take long to describe a six week trip, really…
